Here is the NEET Exam Pattern For 2024 Examination As per the NEET 2024 exam pattern, the exam will be conducted in an offline mode with a total of 200 MCQs out of which candidates will have to answer 180 questions. There will be 50 questions of Physics, 50 questions of Chemistry and 100 questions of Biology. The exam will be a total of 720 marks and each subject will be divided into two Sections: A & B. Section A will have 35 MCQs whereas the other one will have 15 MCQs. Candidates will have to answer 10 questions from Section B. NEET 2024 Exam Marking Scheme There has been no change when it comes to the exam marking scheme. Candidates will get 4 marks for every correct answer whereas 1 mark will be deducted in case of an incorrect answer. NEET upper age limit has been removed, and anyone can apply for the medical entrance exam. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Aggregate Marks : For General Category candidates, the minimum aggregate marks required in the qualifying examination are 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology taken together. For PwD candidates belonging to the General Category, the minimum aggregate marks required are 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology taken together. Number of Attempts: There is no limit on the number of attempts for NEET UG. Nationality: Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply for NEET UG 2024. However, foreign nationals are eligible only for admission to seats under the control of participating States/Universities/Institutions/AFMS. Foreign nationals are not eligible for admission to seats under the control of the Central Government or State Governments/Universities/Institutions/AFMS.
