Here is the NEET Exam Pattern For 2024 Examination As per the NEET 2024 exam pattern, the exam will be conducted in an offline mode with a total of 200 MCQs out of which candidates will have to answer 180 questions. There will be 50 questions of Physics, 50 questions of Chemistry and 100 questions of Biology. The exam will be a total of 720 marks and each subject will be divided into two Sections: A & B. Section A will have 35 MCQs whereas the other one will have 15 MCQs. Candidates will have to answer 10 questions from Section B. NEET 2024 Exam Marking Scheme There has been no change when it comes to the exam marking scheme. Candidates will get 4 marks for every correct answer whereas 1 mark will be deducted in case of an incorrect answer. Important Note: All the NEET UG students must know that you cannot change the answers in the NEET OMR sheet once you mark an answer. Changes Has Done in NEET For 2024 By NTA Agency As of now, there are no official announcements regarding changes in the syllabus for NEET 2024. It is advisable to refer to previous year’s syllabus until any official updates are released. The same as previous year paper-pencil (offline) based exam will be conducted for a duration of 200 minutes. NEET Syllabus 2024 Revised by NTA NEET Syllabus 2024: Aspirants looking for the NEET 2024 syllabus can find the revised version released by NMC and officially published on the NTA website. NEET aspirants witnessed one of the most significant updates regarding the NEET UG 2024. The NMC (National Medical Commission) first decided to revise the NEET 2024 syllabus, which was later released through the official NTA (National Testing Agency) website for the students. The NEET exam includes Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as the major subjects and the NMC has made a few changes in each subject. There are a few topics that have been removed and added as per the latest requirements of the medical profession. NEET upper age limit has been removed, and anyone can apply for the medical entrance exam. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Aggregate Marks : For General Category candidates, the minimum aggregate marks required in the qualifying examination are 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology taken together. For PwD candidates belonging to the General Category, the minimum aggregate marks required are 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology taken together. For candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category, the minimum aggregate marks required are 40% (35% for PwD candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology taken together. Number of Attempts: There is no limit on the number of attempts for NEET UG. Nationality: Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply for NEET UG 2024. However, foreign nationals are eligible only for admission to seats under the control of participating States/Universities/Institutions/AFMS. Foreign nationals are not eligible for admission to seats under the control of the Central Government or State Governments/Universities/Institutions/AFMS.
